Needlenose hound Services caters for greyhounds only, providing a safe, loving and fun environment in one of 8 of our bases inhome. We are the perfect place for your hound to stay. Our mission is to provide care for your hound or hounds in the safest, most enjoyable way possible, therefore he or she is welcomed into our homes and embraced with our own hound families. We are the best and most preferred option for your hound, plus we have lots of safe areas for exercise and sniffaries. Come and visit any of our bases, you won't be disappointed, we welcome meet and greets any time.  We also welcome hounds to come to the Kapiti Coast and enjoy offleash time zooming, cavorting & prancing in the hound safe areas.

We cover from Palmerston North to Wellington 

Needlenose is based on the Kapiti Coast in Paraparaumu, Waikanae, Otaki and Palmerston North, Horowhenua.  If you cannot bring your hound to us, we will collect and deliver back to you.  Visit us any time to check out the lodgings, we would love to see you.  When your hound comes to stay, he or she will be walked daily and sleep inside and be treated with care and respect.  The only thing you need to bring with your hound is a muzzle, lead and PJs, he or she will be guaranteed a comfy bed and blanket.  You can provide your hounds food or we will feed quality kibble and meat.  If your hound uses a crate, we have these on hand along with plenty of toys and healthy snacks.

Greyhounds are our passion, our Needlenose team of carers love and enjoy greyhounds with 11 rehomed greyhounds between us. Needlenose was created in 2017 as we saw a growing need for owners of greyhounds to have an exclusive specialised greyhound homestay that understood the needs of these wonderful hounds. Since this time, we have taken care of over 100 hounds and they return again and again. We are quite often referred to as a hound holiday, rather than a homestay. Each hound that comes to stay is treated individually, for their temperament and little quirks and fancies, our detailed Enrolment form allows us to gather all information required to make their stay happy and secure.
